Position: Marketing Director, Investor Conferences and Trading Festivals

High Level:

You will be responsible for leading the marketing department and overseeing the launch of new conferences and trading festivals. You will coordinate market research and analyze the resulting data to help promote Benzinga’s conference business. Benzinga is looking for an experienced, growth-minded marketer to join our events team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of hands-on experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, a self-directed approach, and an interest in the stock market. This candidate will also have experience with managing team members.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Write revenue driving market copy for events
  • Build campaigns and digital funnels that drive attendance for events and generate sponsorship leads for Events Sales
  • Create a compelling story around our industry conferences to drive event ticket sales
  • Increase our intelligence of customer acquisition, engagement, purchase, and retention
  • Draw impactful conclusions and alter marketing tactics by actively monitoring campaigns and taking the lead on tracking metrics
  • Create sales and marketing collateral for events

Stuff you need to get this gig:

  • Must have a minimum of at least 5 years of B2C marketing experience supporting sales, generating leads, and direct sales with a proven track record of delivering high-revenue growth
  • Proven track record of strategizing and executing B2C email marketing campaigns
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preferred emphasis in business or marketing
  • Must have strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions
  • Demonstrate ability in developing teams and promoting teamwork across various departments
  • Must have proven track record of managing team members
