High Level:

Analyze website traffic reports, linking structures, codes, and content to be able to make smart recommendations to increase website traffic, the number of quality leads, and conversion rates. Perform keyword research, industry, and competitor research using Ahrefs, Screamingfrog, and other popular online marketing tools.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week, Eastern Standard time zone 9 - 5

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive SEO optimizations
  • Add keywords to pages so pages rank for multiple keywords
  • Increase CTR on high-traffic pages
  • Optimize URL slugs on high-intent pages
  • Optimize title tags
  • Setup and execute link building campaigns
  • Keyword research
  • Monthly negative backlink disavowment
  • Disavow sites copying our content
  • Measure changes in page ranking to address quickly
  • Lead SEO structure for the rebuild of Benzinga.com
  • Ensure new content adheres to SEO best practices
  • Work with lead gen team to strategize on growth initiatives
  • Ensure core web vitals are optimal/Page speed improvements

Stuff you need to get this gig:


  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of website architecture
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with WordPress
  • Ability to generate specific KPI’s and report on them
  • Intricate knowledge of organic best practices
