Benzinga is looking for a versatile, hard-working, and organized event logistics coordinator to assist the growing Events team! You will be helping with logistics, client outreach and overall have a big impact on some of the best events in the Fintech space.
Benzinga is looking for an experienced, growth-minded Events Manager to join their events team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience running events logistics for medium- to large-scale conferences. This role can be located in Detroit, MI but will consider applicants that are remote.
Duties include:
- Collaborate with the team to execute all event logistics
- Aiding with speaker and client reach outs
- Collecting and organizing speaker and sponsor collateral prior to each event
- Administrate the virtual event platform including agenda, speaker profiles, and sponsorship booths
- Ensure event tracker document is updated with ongoing changes/additions to event agenda
- Assisting with sourcing vendors and venues for in-person events
- Attend venue walkthroughs and assist with taking photos, videos, and notes
- Editing and producing copy for event marketing materials
- Conducting prep calls with speakers prior to event to review logistics and do a technical walkthrough
- Onsite event support (setup, registration, errands, breakdown, etc.)
- Owning all partner relations with Media Partnerships
- Research projects as needed
- Helping events team with other projects and tasks as needed
- Overseeing event logistics interns and assigning tasks/projects

- Computer skills: Proficient with Google Applications and MS Word and Excel (Familiar with LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Etc)
